American Century Investments

Since 1958, American Century has evolved from a small, single-style mutual fund manager to a multi-disciplined, global asset management firm offering diverse investment vehicles and employing approximately 2,000 people. Based in downtown Kansas City, American Century operates a "state of the art" trading room.
120 Degree Workstations
Trading Room The main trading floor utilizes twelve of our  120 degree workstations. This workstation offers personal privacy and open office communication in a limited amount of space.

Americon utilizes durable space age, impact resistant coverings that far out-perform standard high pressure laminates.

Sit/Stand Environment
Sit/Sand This 120 degree console is equipped with an optional motorized hydraulic lift.  With the touch of a rocker switch,  the user goes from sitting  to standing in about ten seconds. The entire workstation raises. Monitors, mice, keyboards, phones, task lights, drawers and CPU's all remain relational without the discomfort of constantly adjusting hardware.

A secondary benefit is that physically challenged employees  no longer have to be provided a special workstation.

Amenities
View from the Conference Room Diamond-shape pillars fill in the voids and offer places for shared manuals, plants or  other decorations. Access to power, data and voice communications is also gained through these shared pillars.

Segregated cable troughs with plugs and jacks make the electrician's job a breeze.

Tackable cloth panels in  privacy walls are interchangeable with metal slat wall panels for hanging flat monitors and other peripherals.

Small Footprint
Floorplan The superior design of the 120 workstation provides the maximum in usable space within a minimal footprint.

Twelve traders in a 37' x 11' area and each has a  7'  work surface capable of viewing four 21" monitors.
