Military Command and Control Center

In 2009, Americon was contracted to design, manufacture and commission a software  lab for the the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Command at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

We provided cockpit-style slatwall workstations which included integrated drawer pedestals and CPU cabinets. We also supplied articulating monitor arms. The consoles were bridged together using storage peninsulas that also acted a cabling homeruns to the adjoining workstations.

The monitoring system was our Visionmaster LCD/LED backlit video wall utilizing 46" panels from NEC. The video wall processor was assembled using components from DataPath. A curved Visionmaster video cabinet configuration focused viewing towards the operators.
